The PDF version of the manuals for EDS2004 1.2 can be downloaded by doing the following:

• Download eds2004Manuals.exe. 
• Run the file eds2004Manuals.exe.  This will extract into the directory "c:\Software\eds2004\Manuals" on your computer
• You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view or print these files.  You can download a free copy of this from http://www.adobe.com.  If you have a software CD from iXRF for the , the Adobe Acrobat reader is on that CD.

Notes

• EDS2004 is targeted at Windows/2000 and XP only.  If you are presently using Windows/98 or Windows/NT you should first update the operating system on the computer.  
• Please download and install the EDS2004 support files PRIOR to installing eds2004 for the first time.  It is necessary to install the EDS2004 support files once on a system, prior to installing EDS2004.  This is described in the Pre-Installation section below.
• You will need the password for EDS2004.  To get this,contact TEKSER CORP.

EDS2004 1.3 is now available.  This does require additional download and installation of the EDS2004 support files, as described below.  This is a one-time installation, as was required with the previous support files, and should not be necessary when installing future releases of EDS2004 1.3.

There are major changes in the image annotations and the x-ray map composition feature.  We recommend that you review the manual and/or the online help to guide you in the use of these newly redesigned features.

Pre-Installation Procedure

To install EDS2004 1.3, it is first necessary to install EDS2004 Support files.  To do this, do the following:

• Download eds2004Support.exe.  
• Run the file eds2004Support.exe.  This will install the software.

After installing EDS2004 Support files, install EDS2004 1.3 by doing the following:

• Download eds2004_1_3P.exe.  
• Run the file eds2004_1_3P.exe.  This will install the software.

After installing EDS2004 Support files, install EDS2004 1.3 by doing the following:

• Download eds2004_1_3O.exe.  
• Run the file eds2004_1_3O.exe.  This will install the software.

After installing EDS2004 Support files, install EDS2004 1.3 by doing the following:

• Download eds2004_1_3G.exe.  
• Run the file eds2004_1_3G.exe.  This will install the software.
